EOTO Project Blog Post By Zea Hirshberg     For my EOTO project portion, I decided to research the background history of Netflix and its positive and negative effects. Netflix was founded all the way back in 1997 by Reed Hastings and Marc Randolph who also happens to be High Point University's current Entrepreneur in Residence. When the company was first starting out, it began as a DVD-by-mail subscription. It was one of a kind back in the day as it was the only DVD rental store that mailed its customers the DVD. The Six Clauses/Freedoms of the First Amendment in the Black Lives Matter Protest By Zea Hirshberg     It's no surprise the Black Lives Matter movement had such an incredible turnout. In fact, it was recorded that in a total of 550 places across the United States of America, half a million people showed up to the protest. The BLM protest began when a 46-year old black man by the name of George Floyd was unjustly killed, and many say murdered, by white police officers. And why? Many suggest the reason for the four police officers' brutal ways was because Floyd was a black male. It's for these two exact purposes, the Minneapolis Police Department fired all four, and one man, in particular, was charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. Eight Expressions Value Blog Post By Zea Hirshberg       Out of the Eight Values of Free Expression, I believe there cannot be just one value that can be deemed the "most important" out of them all. The top three values I have chosen to discuss in this blog today are number four (Individual Self-Fulfillment), number five (Check on Governmental Power), and lastly, number eight (Protect Dissent).      Starting off with value number four, also known as Individual Self-Fulfillment or Self-Actualization. The description of this particular value of free expression allows individuals to express who they are in order to create their own identity. For example, getting a tattoo or dying your hair, to use the example from class. Five Sources Blog Post By Zea Hirshberg Today, I will be discussing in this blog post about my personal top five news and media outlets starting down at the bottom of the list and going all the way up to number one. The first website I like to use is a platform called the Daily News. While this particular website isn't the always the first to stay up to date on up to the minute news, I can always find the particular section, or category, of news I'm looking for. It's almost like a filter for the news if there were such a thing. The Daily News covers any topic from the most current pandemic, COVID-19, to reading about horoscopes if readers are believe in such a thing.  Number four.
